Wilder Marroquin

Born in Guatemala, Wilder moved to the United States in grade school.  Not knowing any English upon entering school, Wilder was intuitively drawn to photos and images as a way to communicate.   The different cultures, languages and customs Wilder was exposed to led him to immerse himself in learning everything about his new surroundings, a practice he leveraged when entering the world of photography.  Having worked under several stylistically-different photographers in roles ranging from producer to post-production work, Wilder has honed an understanding of the art of photography with a wide depth of knowledge, allowing him to have a diverse range of personal photography style and an adaptability to multiple aesthetics.  A USC graduate of graphic design, Wilder dabbled with paint in art school, allowing his Guatemalan heritage to heavily influence his use of color used on his canvases.  Transferring this same technique into photography, Wilder skillfully uses light and color as his paint, masterfully creating a cohesive collection of photos to continue communicating through art.
